The QMS checkbox is the simplest and easiest way to trigger a QMS Issue. QMS Issues appear in the QMS module as an event that needs QMS attention. They require approval or acknowledgment that the task is at a certain point, that might require some actions on the part of the QMS Manager or designated person.
From the QMS Manager side, QMS Issues appear in the project they originated from. All projects created in the Project Management module have a ‘mirror’ project in the QMS module, where all QMS Issues for that project are tracked, recorded and actioned. It does not include all the regular project tasks and events.
To create a QMS Issue, please go to the Project Management module and select the project you want to work on (in our example: 'Example Cybersecurity').
Click on ‘+Create Issue’.
Select the Issue type. In our example, we are going to create a Task type Issue named 'Check alarm system'.
In the 'Create Task' window, Choose Qms Type: General QMS, Capa, Nonconformity, Change, Training, Compliant, or Supplier. Tasks to which you have assigned one of six QMS types will be located in the Control table of that QMS type. If you cannot specify your task with any of the QMSs offered, select General QMS.

We choose QMS type: Change.
Below is an option for QMS Tags. When you choose one of the Qms Types, the field "QMS Tags" become the Required field. If you don't want to set the Qms tag, click the checkbox "No Qms Tag".

When we have finished filling in the other fields, we click on the "Create" button.
It appears in the QMS module to be tracked by the QMS Manager.
A QMS Decision is created for the QMS Issue, and it needs to be approved by the QMS Manager. The QMS Manager is assigned to the QMS Decision and she can approve or decline it. If she decides to decline it, she could start a Process instead to get the work done better.
View created QMS Issue
To view the QMS Issue, please click on 'QMS' in the sidebar.
Select "Projects" on the left side of the page, and choose Project where you created the task.
First, you will see the Gantt page:
Choose QMS Issues to see all QMS issues:
Also, because qmsWrapper is a Project-related system, this issue will be shown in Project Module, too. Choose Project Module on the sidebar, choose a project, and click on the issues.
Because we choose QMS type: Change, this issue will appear on the "Change" Control Table. Click on the 3 dots on the sidebar (bottom, left), and choose the "Change" button:
The "Change Issues" tab will automatically open and you can find the issue that you created.
