Library

The ‘Library’ folder is defined as a folder for all the company-related documents such as Standards or non-project-specific documents. Documents stored in the ‘Library’ are version controlled.

Only the Administrator user who registered the company is able to add or delete documents that are in the ‘Library’ and to create folders. Please note, it is only possible to upload files to the ‘Library’ folder from your PC.

Access rights

The administrator who registered the company can edit access rights, so that other users can have access to the ‘Library folder’.

Access rights can be dedicated to another user over a folder or particular file.

 

Editing access rights over a folder

To edit access rights over a folder, choose the folder first. With right-click on the folder, a drop-down menu will open. Choose ‘Edit Access Rights’.

Certain rights can be dedicated to a single user or to a group of users. Select users/groups, you wish to assign access rights and click the arrow pointing to the right. You can also add all users/groups with the double-arrow button.

After Users/Groups are selected, certain rights can be assigned. You can choose whether to assign the right to Read, Edit, Delete, or Recursive folder to other users/groups.

Read – users/groups can only open the folder and see its content.

Edit – users/groups can edit folders. Marking this access right, ‘Read’ will be automatically checked.

Delete – users/groups can delete folders. Marking this access right, ‘Read’ will be automatically checked.

Recursive access right - means that users/groups have the same access rights, which are assigned to them over the folder, on its content as well.

Same access rights can be assigned to users/groups by clicking in checkboxes on the top of the window. Marking certain access right there will automatically assign that right to all selected users/groups.

If you don’t want to assign same access rights over a folder to users/groups, you can check boxes next to users/groups name and choose which access right want to assign to each user/group

After users/groups are selected and access rights are assigned, click on the ‘Update’ button.

You can edit given permissions over the folder anytime by choosing the ‘Edit access rights’ option.

If you want to remove a particular user/group, you need to select that user/group from the list on the right side of the window and click on the arrow pointing to the left. Assigned access rights will be revoked for that user/group.

If you want to change given access rights, you just need to check or uncheck certain access right checkboxes.

To edit access rights over the file, choose the file first. With right-click on the folder, a drop-down menu will open. Choose ‘Edit Access Rights’.
